Skills: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred, Critical Thinking, Patient Assessment and Triage, IV Insertion and Phlebotomy, Medication Administration, Wound Care, Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency, Crisis Intervention, Effective Communication, Teamwork and Collaboration, Stress Management, Empathy and Compassion Requirements: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice., Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience considered., Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting., Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire., Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed., Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure., Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities., Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as needed.
