We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher to inspire students in grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, design engaging curriculum, and effectively guide students in developing strong literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills. This role involves active participation in the school community and a commitment to student success and well-being through innovative teaching practices. Skills: Curriculum Development, Differentiated Instruction, Classroom Management, Student Assessment, Verbal and Written Communication, Technology Integration (LMS, educational software), Collaboration with Colleagues and Parents, Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, Knowledge of English Literature & Grammar, Lesson Planning Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred), Valid State Teaching Credential/License in Secondary English Education, Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience at the high school level (preferred), Demonstrated ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment, Commitment to professional development and continuous learning, Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting
